Understanding the presence of constituents of emerging concern in water

Posted by George J Janczyn on May 19, 2010

This is the executive summary (displayed here with permission) of a new National Water Research Institute report about the quality of water in drinking water sources for Southern California. Sources studied include the Colorado River as well as the State Water Project, both of which supply water to the San Diego region.

In addition to being of interest to everyone in general, the report contains information that will be of interest to people interested in or involved with San Diego’s Indirect Potable Reuse demonstration project.
