Border Field State Park, Friendship Park

Posted by George J Janczyn on August 19, 2016

While hiking in Border Field State Park on April 28, 2013 we happened upon a Binational Day of the Child event at Friendship Park. Below are several photos I took while there (a certain now-disgraced former San Diego mayor was there but no need to post that image).

You might want to check the new story about the border wall with some historical background just published by Voice of San Diego: http://www.voiceofsandiego.org/topics/news/45-years-border-wall-friendship-park-changed-fellowship-hasnt/.
