Today we took a drive up to Cuyamaca Rancho State Park to see if there were any fall colors left this late in the season. There weren’t many leaves left on the sycamores and other trees but a prescribed burn conducted by Cal Fire gave everything its own kind of color. The fire itself is on Middle Peak next to Lake Cuyamaca.
