This is pretty cool. But I’m in Iowa, so could you tell me something about these steps? Why are they there? Why do you call them secret? How many steps are there ( this might require some work on your part).

There are so many good descriptions about the steps already online I didn’t want to be redundant. Just Google or use your favorite search engine: “secret stairs la mesa”
