Research well project yields less water than hoped / U-T San Diego : “Geologists didn’t pull as much water as they had hoped this month out of a research well drilled under San Elijo Lagoon, but the liquid they got isn’t as salty as initially feared.”

Sinkhole swallows bus in North County [with video] / Fox 5 San Diego : “A city bus was stranded after getting stuck in a sinkhole in Oceanside Wednesday morning. An Oceanside Water Department dispatcher said the sinkhole was caused by a water main break.”

Through the pipeline on Jackson Drive / Mission Times Courier : “It’s anything but business as usual along Jackson Drive south of Mission Gorge Road this winter as the San Diego County Water Authority works on a water delivery pipeline project beneath the San Carlos neighborhood.”

Sewage warnings posted for ocean from IB to border / U-T San Diego : “County health officials have posted warning signs against going into the ocean from the Tijuana River north to Imperial Beach because of sewage runoff.”
